GSOP Live hits the beach

After an action-packed grand opening at Manchester’s world famous Old Trafford stadium, the second season of GSOP Live continues its whistle-stop tour across Europe to the home of the Gods – Greece.

On October 11-15 the Porto Carras resort will play host Ongame’s GSOP Live offering players and also a companion an escape from the daily grind. Online finals for GSOP Live Greece are running every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday till 25 September.

Qualifiers for his latest GSOP Live event can treat a friend to a relaxing vacation, taking in the resort’s gorgeous white sand beaches and the crystalline blue waters of the Aegean. They can also absorb the great poker action to be found at the GSOP Live. All players who qualify through Ongame’s online finals can bring a friend for free to stay with them at the fabulous all-inclusive Porto Carras Hotel and Resort.

GSOP Live is a unique poker tour tailored towards recreational players. Many players bring friends or family anyway, to show them what poker is about and as supporters, so giving them a chance to treat a loved one or a friend to an all-inclusive stay in Greece is simply fantastic

I’m sure this great 2- for-1 package will be well received by the players, pros and casual alike, who will battle it out at the GSOP Live. Enabling them to bring someone else with them on this adventure sweetens what is already a great deal

David Pittel, Managing Director of Ongame Network.

After its inaugural season, the second season of GSOP Live has been extended to five stops in as diverse locations as football stadiums, the Alps and beaches, with a Grand Final taking place in Dominican Republic. The first stop of GSOP Live season 2 took place in Manchester United’s ‘Theatre of Dreams’ where players also attended the testimonial match for Paul Scholes, considered by many to be the world’s best midfield player of his generation. Jens Kerper representing bwin, came out victorious, earning himself $81,175 and a seat at the table for the Grand Final in the Dominican Republic.
